Safe Sleeping for Babies
When the baby sleeps at night, you should make sure the sleeping environment is as safe as possible. If the sleeping environment is not safe, then this will increase the chances of your baby developing SIDS, which is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. You should make sure your babies feet are at the bottom of his/her cot and your baby should be tightly tucked in or swaddled so that your baby is not able to move under the blanket because they could toss the blanket over their face. It seems that babies like to be swaddled at night and when they are young they should be put in the bassinet or cot because that is a safe and warm environment. You shouldn’t move your baby to the crib until they are old enough.

As your baby grows, your baby will get stronger and will be more mobile. This means they will be able to move up, kick those sheets off, so you should carefully prepare this for them. The best way to avoid this it to put your baby in one of those safe baby sleeping bags, which has tons of ventilation holes and it has been rates as low fire hazard. We believe the baby sleeping bags was a great invention and a great way to keep your baby not only safe at night, but warm during the winter season. With this, your baby is not going to be getting caught up in their sleep. You could reduce SIDS by making sure there is no blankets, cot bumblers and making sure the bassinet matters is firmly put on the frame. You should not smoke around your infant as this reduces SIDS.
